Viktoria Erlacher is a young PhD student at the University of Brighton’s Centre of Resilience for Social Justice and a Boingboing volunteer. In line with the Boingboing approach to resilience she wants to make sure to hold systems accountable rather than blaming the individual for their struggles. She does that through climate change activism as she doesn’t think it’s fair that even though climate change is a result of the greed of a handful of corporations, now individuals and young people are made responsible to fix the issue. Viktoria’s research is on Climate change and mental health. Outside of work, she loves to get her hands dirty in her local community garden project and is forever chasing the next best cat meme.
